StockSaathi Terms of Service

Service description

StockSaathi tells a shop's customers whether an item is available and what it costs, using the item and price data synced from the shop's own software, and reports enquiries back to the shop owner. Customers can ask on WhatsApp, or on a call forwarded from the shop's number when nobody picks up, which the StockSaathi AI agent answers by voice.

Call forwarding

• You set up call forwarding on your own number with your telecom operator so that unanswered, busy or unreachable calls reach the AI agent. You are responsible for enabling it, keeping it active, and turning it off if you stop using the service.
• Your telecom operator may charge for forwarded calls. Those charges are between you and your operator and are not paid to or collected by Sonkawade Labs.
• Forwarding depends on your operator's network. We do not guarantee that every unanswered call will be forwarded or answered — calls can fail for reasons outside our control, including network outages and operator restrictions.
• You must only forward a number that you are entitled to use.

Consent to recording

Calls answered by the AI agent are recorded and transcribed. The assistant identifies itself as automated and informs the caller at the start of the call. By enabling call forwarding to StockSaathi you authorise this recording on your behalf and confirm you are entitled to do so for calls made to your number.

Automated conversation

The agent speaks automatically and may mishear or misunderstand which item a caller is asking for, particularly on a poor line. Sonkawade Labs does not warrant that any transcript or answer given on a call is accurate.

Who these Terms apply to

These Terms apply to the shop that subscribes to StockSaathi and to its authorised staff. Customers who message the shop are transacting with the shop, not with Sonkawade Labs.

Your responsibilities as a shop

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the item names, stock quantities and prices in your own software. StockSaathi repeats what your records say.
• You are responsible for honouring, or declining, any enquiry a customer makes — the sale itself is between you and your customer.
• You must use a WhatsApp number you are entitled to use, and comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform policies.
• You must not use StockSaathi to send unsolicited marketing messages to people who have not contacted you.

Not a quotation or a contract

An availability or price answer given by StockSaathi, by message or on a call, is information taken from the shop's records at that moment. It is not a binding quotation, a reservation of stock, or an offer capable of acceptance, and stock may sell out or prices may change before a customer arrives.

Acceptable use

• Use StockSaathi only for genuine enquiries about goods you lawfully sell.
• Do not use it for unlawful, misleading, fraudulent or deceptive activity, or to list goods you may not lawfully sell.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or bypass licensing, rate limits or security controls.
• Do not use it in a way that interferes with WhatsApp, our infrastructure, or other customers.

Sync accuracy

StockSaathi depends on a working connection to the shop's own software. If that software is closed, offline or out of date, answers may be stale. Sonkawade Labs does not guarantee that synced data is current at any given moment and is not liable for a sale lost or made on the strength of a stale answer.

Availability

StockSaathi is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free output, or the continuous availability of third-party services such as hosting, messaging platforms, telecom operators, payment services or AI providers.

Fees

Pricing for StockSaathi has not yet been published. The product is not available for purchase, and no amount is charged for it, until rates are published on the Pricing page. When it does go on sale, payments will be collected in INR through our payment partner Cashfree Payments and the Refund & Cancellation Policy will apply.

Intellectual property

StockSaathi, its software, workflows, prompts, design and branding remain the property of Sonkawade Labs, except where ownership is required by law for content you supply.

Termination

Sonkawade Labs may suspend or restrict access if StockSaathi is used in violation of these Terms, for abuse prevention, or to comply with legal obligations. You may stop using the service at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonkawade Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of StockSaathi, and its total liability for any claim relating to StockSaathi is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if any) in the three months preceding the claim.

Data protection and your responsibilities

How personal data is handled is set out in the StockSaathi Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Where you use StockSaathi to handle other people's personal data, you are the data fiduciary for that data and Sonkawade Labs is the data processor acting on your instructions; you are responsible for having a lawful basis, giving those people the notice they are owed, and obtaining any consent required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Subject to any mandatory law, the courts at Latur, Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or to StockSaathi.

Changes to these Terms

Sonkawade Labs may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions are posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of StockSaathi after an update means the revised Terms apply to the extent permitted by law.
